What Is Psychometric Testing
Over the recent past, Psychometric Testing has become a popular exercise among recruiters. A psychometric test is a systematic and scientific technique employed to determine a person's mental aptitude, knowledge and personality. Questions for diagrammatic reasoning testing are meant to evaluate one's ability to reason logically. They may entail tools such as charts or diagrams, and the candidate will be required to interpret the meaning without prior knowledge. Such tests are common for roles related to engineering, information technology and science spheres.
Error Checking Tests
These tests evaluate how quick and accurate an individual is in detection of errors. Error detection is an important aspect in data entry and clerical work since a minor error in a document can translate to hefty costs and inconveniences. There are also error diagnosis tests, which assess one's capability to tackle a problem logically. This technique of psychometric assessment is mostly used when hiring technical staff who will be engaged in diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical or electronic devices.
